It was a real treat to meet Xavier de Roquemaural,

It was a real treat to meet Xavier de Roquemaural, CEO of Czapek Watches, at Windup Watch Fair NYC on Sunday afternoon.

I love Czapek watches, and I have fond memories of meeting Xavier at Salon QP in November 2015 when he presented their very first prototype.

Sheepishly, I plucked up enough courage to show Xavier the first prototype I'd made of our Newgrange watch. He was kind and supportive in his feedback, but as we all know, he's an absolute gentleman within horological circles.

Since 2015, I've continued to follow Czapek's success and the beautifully designed and crafted watches they produce. I'm overjoyed to see their fifth collection, the Promenade and, in particular, their Promenade Goutte D'eau.

What a pleasure to see an example of the Promenade Goutte D'eau 'in the wild'. It's an extraordinary dial, and my only regret is that I didn't capture an image of Promenade Goutte D'eau on my wrist.

There was an aamazing turnout for Day 2 at Windup Watch Fair NYC 2024.

Today, pretty much like yesterday, was a wonderful opportunity to meet watch enthusiasts and watch afficionado from the New York area and beyond. We were excited to meet so many enthusiasts and share our watchmaking journey.

Tomorrow, Sunday the 20th October is the last opportunity to catch 144 brands across two floors at Center415 on 5th Avenue.

Come by and discover timepieces designed to honour the long tradition of marking time in Ireland for over five millennia.

We'll be on Booth 57 from 12:00h through to 17:00h to share our love of watch design, watch making, and, of course, our remarkable Irish and horological backstory.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

We were absolutely elated yesterday when a customer appeared at our booth proudly wearing one of our watches. Seeing our creation 'out in the wild' is a truly rewarding moment.
