Gordon Bennett, our special edition timepiece for British Watchmakers' Day 2025, features a lustrous British Racing Green dial.

British Racing Green holds a unique place in the annals of motorsport history, with its roots in the 1903 Gordon Bennett Cup, a landmark event held on Irish soil. This came about because in the early 1900's public road racing was prohibited in England. In a gesture of respect to its Irish hosts, Britain's Napier team chose a rich shamrock green for their racing cars, forgaing an Irish connection to this much loved, archetypal British colour.

This special edition piece is limited to just five examples. The deep lustrous dial captures the timeless elegance of British Racing Green, and evokes a modern aesthetic that's both distinctive and understated. Available to pre-order from 10.00am on Saturday the 8th March 2025.

Since the dawn of time, mankind has looked to the heavens to measure the passage of time. The movement of celestial bodies formed the foundation of horology, shaping our understanding of time itself.

The Sidus Collection is an evolution of our existing values. Sidus models remain true to many of the design elements first established in our Newgrange timepieces.

Sidus is our first watch to offer a GMT function. However, unlike most GMT watches, an under-dial disc is employed to display the second time zone. Furthermore, the GMT disc features a dual-coloured background that transitions from dark to light between dawn and dusk, providing an instantaneous reference to day and night time in the second time zone.

The dial is a bi-metallic construction, a brass base is fused with an anodised aluminium top layer that pleasingly catches the light across a series of concentric conical surfaces.

Sidus GMT watches are available in three dial colours and five case finishes.
