The Knowth watch celebrates the tumulus and the seventeen smaller satellite tombs found at Knowth (Cnogba). The site is regarded as one of the most remarkable prehistoric monuments in the World and is best known for the magnitude of the engraved Neolithic rock art, with images of the Sun, the Moon, constellations and stars, found on some 261 decorated kerbstones and passage stones.

Two part stainless steel case and custom-made screw-down crown have a combination brushed and polished finish with an ion-plated grey finish to evoke the idea of space and to represent the warm hues of the kerbstones that surround the tombs at Knowth.

The bespoke movement ring is engraved with the words: ‘THE SUN, THE MOON AND A SKY FULL OF STARS’, a tribute to the remarkable legacy of rock art depicting some of the earliest lunar and solar calendars.

Proprietary hands including tapered semi-skeletonised baton-style hour and minute hands and a distinctive orange centre second hand with cruciform detail on the counterpoise.

Modified Swiss Made automatic movements with custom rotors and elaboré levels of finishing are hand regulated and tested by our master watchmaker.

The stepped dial, with luminous markers and distinguishing radial lines, is slightly domed and creates an particularly interesting form factor around the date window. Dial colours are Quartz White, Fawn Grey or Midnight Black.

Calf leather strap complete with a brushed stainless steel pin buckle with an ion-plated grey finish and a contrasting sidereus star logo with a polished finish. Additional standard or premium grade straps can also be purchased. Strap Information
